are a good match for prison officer roles. Available in 50
prisons,
'Advance into Justice' provides an opportunity to fast track into a second career where you
can continue to protect the public.
With our shorter recruitment process, you could fast track from assessment day to employment and
prison officer paid training (POELT) in as little
as four to six weeks*. You can agree a mutually convenient start date for after you've left the
armed forces if you're still in your transition period.

full-time employment*, having spent at least a year in service as a regular or
reserve in His Majesty's Armed Forces and left within the last five years.
*Working part-time or on a zero hours contract are considered as 'not

To support your resettlement, generous home-to-work travel expenses if
you live within 75 minutes of the prison you'll be working at, or up to £12k
relocation expenses if you live more than 75 minutes away.

from keeping the prison safe and secure, to helping vulnerable people through a
difficult time in their lives.
